Vet Teams 2.0: The Next Generation! Preparing veterinary teams for the future of client care, technology, & teamwork.

0.5 CE Credit Hour / Veterinarians & Veterinary Technicians

Overview:

Veterinary practices are under pressure like never before. Pet owners expect faster communication, easier scheduling, and a seamless experience that blends compassion with convenience. Meanwhile, staff shortages and burnout are straining teams, leaving front desks overwhelmed. Technology and AI present opportunities to ease this burden — but only if they’re implemented thoughtfully.

This session will cut through the hype and focus on what matters most: how veterinary teams can leverage technology to reduce stress, improve client communication, and preserve the human-animal bond. Attendees will first engage with framing questions on AI, communication tools, and client expectations, then steer the conversation through live polls and Q&A.

The goal: practical, resourceful strategies to help veterinary leaders prepare their practices for the next generation of care without losing the empathy that defines the profession.

Learning Objectives:

  • Evaluate how emerging technologies—particularly AI and automation—can streamline front-office workflows, reduce burnout, and enhance client communication without compromising the human-animal bond.
  • Design strategies to meet rising pet-owner expectations by integrating digital-first communication tools and personalized care experiences that foster trust and long-term loyalty.
  • Assess how modern marketing and data analytics can be leveraged to strengthen client retention, improve operational efficiency, and support smarter business decisions within veterinary practices.
  • Implement a culture of innovation that encourages veterinary teams to embrace technological change while maintaining empathy, authenticity, and excellence in client care.
