Overview:

The theory that cats are from a different planet may explain their skills at developing issues that make you want to pull their teeth (and your hair) out. As frustrating as they can be, regular professional examinations and care can be one way to return some feline patients into your practice on a regular basis. Share everyone's frustrations on things like feline chronic gingivostomatitis and tooth resorption as we explore what needs to be done.

Learning Objectives:

  • Discuss the importance of the oral exam throughout life stages;
  • Identify common oral issues in kittens/young adult cats;
  • Client education and communication about a lifetime of oral care, including home care techniques and regular professional care;
  • Learn the best practices for routine care
