Overview:
This course reviews antifungal treatment of common invasive fungal pathogens. It blends evidence-based medicine and clinical applicability. It will include information to guide clinical decision making to help minimize drug adverse effects; to avoid drug-to-drug interactions; and to guide salvage treatment decisions when first-line treatment is ineffective.

Andrew Hanzlicek, DVM, MS, DACVIM (SAIM)
Andrew Hanzlicek, DVM, MS, DACVIM (SAIM), is a veterinary internal medicine specialist with more than 14 years of professional experience teaching, providing clinical services and conducting research in small animal internal medicine. As Veterinary Services Director he oversees veterinary consultation, veterinary research studies, and provides strategic leadership to expand our menu of veterinary services and products.

He is also the proud dog dad to 4 dachshunds and believes no one should be deprived of the incredible human-animal bond.
